Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) Process & Elder Fraud

About the Presenter: Sam Hursey is a Management and Program Analyst at the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). He has been with the FBI for 12 years and with IC3 nearly 5 years. He is the subject matter expert for investment fraud and cryptocurrency. Hursey is a member of their recently created crypto team within IC3 and conduct blockchain analysis to assist with crypto-related fraud. Finally, He works with the DOJ’s Elder Fraud Initiative in which they coordinate elder fraud related IC3 complaints to FBI ‘Strike Force’ Field Offices.
